Steven Dillon – Youth Leader

Steven Dillon has answered the call as part-time youth leader. We enjoy having him help our littles and middles grow closer to Jesus and increase their faith. Steven has many connections to Centre through his Grandparents and ancestors. We see his wonderful accomplishments as God has led him to expand our programs for littles and middles.
Steven became a follower of Christ at an early age. He earned a BA in Christian Ministry in 2021, and an MA in Ministry in 2024. The Lord opened up learning opportunities along the way, including leading small groups at two different churches during his time in college, which then led him to Centre Friends in February 2025. Along with his wife, Kelsey, he also brings his two boys, Josiah & Elijah.
Sharon Hice, Treasurer

Sharon is a mom of three kids and Grandma to two. She has attended Centre for many years and been able to serve as treasurer for many years. Her days are spent working as a nurse as well as taking any free time she has to take care of grandbabies and visiting her own grown up children. We are lucky to have her here at Centre.
Deborah Kirk, Choir Director
Deborah Kirk has a Bachelor and Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Early in her music career she performed collaboratively with area musicians and maintained a full studio for piano students of all ages. She first came to Centre from 1999-2013 as accompanist/organist while serving as the Music Specialist at Peeler Open School for the Performing Arts. After retiring from Guilford County Schools, she returned to Centre as Choir Director. She enjoys camping, horses and life with her husband and cat companions.
